I am pleased to announce that thanks to funding from Arts Council England South East the south east is able to be part of a national Cultural Olympiad screen project taking place at the Glastonbury Festival.



There are opportunities for young film makers and digital artists to submit a short film and win tickets to Glastonbury 2010 - note finalists' films from each region will be shown daily.

Understandably, some people have been viewing MeejaHub, its motives and its creators with some cynicism. The idea of putting ‘competitive’ people together in the same room (or on the same website) does not sit comfortably with everyone. We hope people will try the group out and realise we’re not about egos and agendas.

Nope, I can't unfortunately...cricket season has started and the boys' matches run most Wednesday afternoons and into the evenings. Hiya

so sorry, I can't come on weds, it is the only day off I have over half term and am going to London with kids. I was hoping to have 3 weeks off between jobs and would have loved to pop in but the crazy freelance thing means I now have a princely one day off instead! Hmmm. Loving the work but surely a day off now and again is possible! Hope to be able to come to Nov event but as you know the bearded man has me working hard from beg nov onwards so bear with me....

I'm intending to have a split personality for the night and attend both although with the weather as it is at the moment I might avoid Buss Murton in favour of the friendly crowd at MeejaHub (and I've certainly more in common with you guys than boring solicitors, accountants and bankers!) So look out for me - probably on roller skates.....
