New Kentish folk songs

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 12:08 0 Comments

I've written a couple of new Kentish folk songs - Maridor and The Hawkhurst Gang - and they are available on my myspace page.
I'm performing them with my old pal and co-writer Tim Ball at The Bull in Benenden on Thursday night, November 11.
Get up and get down.

Middle Class Blues

I've written a song called Middle Class Blues and my musical guru Tim Ball has been kind enough to 'get it down' digitally.

It's on my Myspace page.

I think it may be the only song that features Fred Goodwin, Labradors (Coco,… Continue

It is £12 a month by direct debit (which is about as cheap as it gets with archery clubs) , and the range is open whenever you want to shoot, inside or outside.
So if you had a spare morning, you could have a quick shoot and then go back to work ! .... I do. It's quite basic but functional, and very friendly. we also have some good longbow archers (to help you if you wish). regards StJohn.

Hi Stephen, if it's reasonably near to you (it's near Hurst green just off the road to Hawkhurst), then yes, it would be a good club to join. Regards StJohn.

Hi Stephen and thanks for your support on Twitter.

I'm still trying to figure out how to use Tweetdeck effectively so I'm a bit apprehensive.

Did you see my comment regarding your blog?

Stephen, I can translate into French if it's not a technical text. Translations are not a service my business offers, but I can do it to give a hand.
If you like, I can help you find a translator, both for French and German. Let me know if I can help.
