Francesca Collin Exhibition space needed

Does anyone know of an exhibition space/venue that is relatively cheap to hire (for a week). Ideally in London.

If so, can they contact me. Thanks!

Ben Wain One new year's resolution to fit all

New year's resolutions are often ones we make to keep us occupied with something through the dreary depths of Winter, which get binned off as soon as the year picks up. Here's a less personalized one, one that doesn't need to be tailored to suit but works for everyone:

Don't be a sheep. Don't go by what the masses say. Don't go by what the TV says (in fact avoid TV altogether if possible). Don't go by what the red-tops say (anyone who does - shame on you!). Find your own likes and…

Caroline Smith Uncle Guy's Baubles

Each December I take a taped up cardboard box labelled ‘Uncle Guy’s Baubles’ out of the attic.  Since the boys were small, my brother-in-law has brought them back a Christmas bauble from his numerous travels around the world.  Forget colour themes, our tree is a multi-coloured and cosmopolitan affair. The decorations are quite striking, particularly the exquisite large glass baubles from Hungary.  The kitsch coral effect glittery starfishes from Florida add a tropical air to the backdrop of…

Caroline Smith To advertise or not to advertise, that is the question.

We're heading towards the end of the year, the kids are about to break up from school and I am starting to feel the usual rising panic.  Am I ready for the Christmas holidays?  There's so much to do - in the home and at work - it's the usual mix and muddle.  But hey ho, it all gets done in the end.  As it says on…

Caroline Smith That's My Girl!

'Please can we get a dog?  We'll help you look after it.  Pleeeeaaaase......'

'Definitely NOT!' was the answer.  We were living in the centre of town and simply didn't have the right home for one or the inclination; after all, dogs are a…

Bruce Hemming linking social media and interactive content on the iPhone

If you have an iPhone, or access to one, please see www.bhphoto.biz/iphone/index.html This is an example of a fully featured interactive website for iPhone with embedded links to social media via a Share button. The significance is that this is not an app - it is a webpage, so opens in the Safari web browser installed on iDevices ( an iPad version will be available soon) and is cached in the same way as a web page which makes for faster… Continue
