Transformed By You Event

Frustrated that you can't access Kent and Medway public sector information or services in the way you want them?

Think you could do better?

Well, now's your chance to help create new and useful online services for the local community.

On Saturday, 20 March 2010 we're running "Transformed by You". It's a one day innovation event at Innovation Centre Medway that will bring together the people with skills (the innovators) and the people with influence to make innovation happen (the service providers).

These events have already proved transformational around the country. Popular online services like Enabled By Design, Good Gym and MyCouncilTax were all developed at similar one-day events.

"Transformed by You" will give local people in Kent and Medway the opportunity to plan and develop online services specifically for local communities. It will also help local public sector organisations to understand the way local people would like to be able to access their services and maybe to develop better online services as a result.

We're looking for a wide range of people to come along on the day - you don't necessarily need to have technical, computer or IT development skills - your thoughts, ideas and active participation in the workshop could help make a real difference to services that are provided for people in Kent and Medway
